Super Delish Superfood Shake Recipes

Shakes and smoothies packed with protein, fresh fruits and veggies are the perfect post-workout snack or breakfast on the go! For those summer days where cooking a whole meal over a hot stove sounds too grueling to bear, keep it cool with an easy-to-make, super-yummy smoothie! Here are three of my go-to shake recipes for a quick boost of nutrition.

Chocolate Coconut Almond-Butter Shake

Craving a great big bowl of ice cream, but trying soooo hard to be good? Try this delicious shake instead! The almond butter makes this shake extra creamy, while the coconut flakes add texture and the dark chocolate almond milk brings that cravable chocolatey cocoa flavor. Wanna make this treat extra special? Sprinkle some Dang Coconut Chips on top (as featured in the September 2017 Bless Box!). YUM!

BLEND IT UP:

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

1 cup dark chocolate Almond milk

1 rounded tbsp almond butter

1½ cups water

3 ice cubes

Good Mornin’ Sunshine Coffee Banana Shake

Get your caffeine and your protein fix all in one shake. Easy peasy! Perfect for those mornings where you gotta hit the ground running! For an extra fast prep time, keep your ingredients measured and bagged-u in your freezer! When you’re ready for a shake, just dump the bag, blend, and go!

BLEND IT UP:

12 oz cold black coffee

1 frozen banana

2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder

1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa

Handful of walnuts

1 cup of ice

Raspberry-Chia Cream Smoothie

This super-hydrating, creamy, coconutty smoothie will get even the sleepiest sleepyheads out of bed. To make this sweet treat, combine coconut water, lemon juice and cashews in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Then add the raspberries and chia seeds and blend unitl smooth. Enjoy!

BLEND IT UP:

12 ounces raw coconut water

juice of 1 lemon

1/3 cup raw cashews

1/2 pint organic raspberries

2 tablespoons chia seeds
