Bless Box’s Guide To The Biggest Fall Trends of 2018

Fall is here, and that means a whole new season of fashion! Join us as we dive into the Bless Guide to the biggest fall trends of 2018, and how to wear them!

Clueless Plaid

Tartan print always says fall. This fall, take notes from Cher Horowitz and step out in bright plaid prints. I’m obsessed with the mixed tartan print looksfrom the Versace Fall-Winter 2018 collection. Not up to a whole plaid ensemble? Keep it classic with a tartan check print skirt or trousers and a solid-colored top, or follow Saz’s lead in an oversized tartan print shirt-dress.

A close cousin of tartan plaid print, Houndstooth is having a moment this fall. Wear it in classic black-and-white or mix things up with an unexpected color combo like Saz in this super cute matching blue-and-peach houndstooth set.

Disco Glitter

We’re seeing sparkle and glitter all over the runways this season! From all-over face glitter makeup at Giambattista Valli to gilded two piece suits at Christian Cowan, sparkles are here to stay. Here is Saz showing us how its done in a spangled silver flapper dress and old Hollywood glamour makeup.

Return of the 80’s

The 80’s are back, baby! From acid wash to exaggerated shoulder pads to stirrup leggings, the most divisive decade of style is back. Think short-short dresses, bold shoulders, electric-hued animal prints and more-is-more makeup. Here’s Saz rocking the best of the 80’s in a jewel toned satin green belted blazer dress, mules and a structured round handbag.

Power Suiting

Business meets pleasure this fall with daring cuts, matching separates and super sexy suiting. Designers from Alexander Wang to Off-White are taking suiting from the boardroom to the catwalk this season. Rock the trend on your own with a classic power suit in a daring color (like Saz, as shown below) or break up the look into smart trousers or a chic blazer.

Animal Print

This fall, designers are wild for animal print. After all, isn’t leopard print basically a neutral? 😉 Go all-out in a head-to-toe animal print ensemble (zebra, leopard, cheetah, tiger print and even cow spots are all fair game!) or stick to an animal print accent. See Saz’s leopard-spot and camel coat outfit below!

Western Frontier

Prairie vibes are huge this fall. Think romantic Westworld-inspired white dresses, patchwork patterns from Dior and Coach, and leather details from Isabel Marant and Dsquared2. So how do you rock the Western fall trend without looking like an extra on Little House On The Prairie? Take a note from Sazan and combine Western elements like blanket-stitched shorts, classic leather accessories, romantic silk blouses, and elevated Fendi cowboy boots.
